GHOSTWRITING CONTEST!

We are publishing a collection of great ghost stories and spooky photos in a book entitled Ghosthunting USA 2009 made up of the best entries in our first-ever writing and photo contest. If you’ve got a ghost story you think will scare the wits out of readers or a photo you've been dying to share, enter this contest!

The deadline for ALL contest entries is OCTOBER 1, so if you are planning on entering, make sure you get yours in the mail by at least the 21st of September.

GET YOUR STORY PUBLISHED, but don't wait until the last minute, because our deadline is final!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help spread the word! I know there are tons of people out there who are dying to tell their own, true ghost story to thousands of readers. So if you have a friend or family member you know is itching to fill everyone in on their spooky tale, let them in our little secret here at America's Haunted Road Trip.

hi i was going to summit a story. but i just can't afford the fee, but i will write on my page, and let you all read it. i have to warn you my grammer isnt perfect lol. but enjoy btw this is a actual acount from mymother with a enity from my mother when she was 16,,,,,,

hi gang
ok heres my story....i was on the computer with my computer speakers on...when
all of a sudden i hear these voices talking but they were mumbling but there were
alot of them.it didnt sound like a yahoo sound but very different but the voices th-
em selves were very clear.it sounded like a telephone call.any way i had a friend
named bill who died from a heat attack at age 40.anyway out from these mum-
ling voice i hear this voice(his voice)say "hi lenny"god it was so clear! someone
must have said something funny because he was laughing before he said hi.

Visited in-laws in Maryland who lived in a pre-Civil War home on the Susquehana River. Just before dawn something woke me, and I heard a commotion outside the window. There on the lawn stood a man and a woman. The man attired in the confederate uniform held a sabre above the woman who appeared to plead with him. She wore a long antebellum-style gown.
The first rays of dawn peeked through the sky, and the couple vanished.
There had been no reports about the incident, yet there had been problems later in the same house. Ghosts!
