America's Haunted Roadtrip

Touring America's Greatest Haunted Areas

I'll be heading to California later this week and wondered if anyone had suggestions on haunted places to visit? I will be in the LA, San Diego & San Francisco areas. Thanks!

Thanks Michael!

My husband is a CA native but not too familiar with hauntings, other than The Queen Mary & The Winchester House. I'm hoping to find some less known hole in the wall places. I will try to hit the cemetary & Griffith.

There's a little bistro I visited in San Francisco in '01 that had activity. I captured quite a few light anomalies there. Trying to remember the name so I can revisit.

Thanks again for the suggestions! :)

I am not from California -- and wish some of our members from there would respond -- but can think of a few possible sites off the top of my head.

In LA, Forest Lawn Cemetery is definitely worth a visit! It would be my #1 choice. I have also heard that Griffith Observatory might be a promising spot and it is certainly a picturesque one.

In San Francisco there are supposed to be a couple of haunted hotels; their names are eluding me at the moment, and I haven't personally visited any of them, but an Internet search would doubtless reveal them. And , of course, there is Alcatraz -- but you are obviously already familiar with it!
